JudgeBot is a computer program that monitors every game in which your opponent disconnects. If JudgeBot determines that you are clearly winning, it will award the win to you in about 40-60 seconds! You will receive an ICC message and the game will appear as a win in your history. You can read more on JudgeBot here.
If you do not receive the win, it is because JudgeBot didn't think you were clearly winning.
Under normal circumstances, you must allow your opponent seven days to resume the game. Each time you logon, type 'resume' in the command console. Or go to your menu above in ICC for Mac/Windows: View > My adjourned games.
Right click on a game and choose 'resume' This will challenge your opponent to resume the adjourned game. (The menu also has options to offer your opponent a draw, abort or you can resign the game.)
If your opponent never logs in, or refuses to resume, then you can send a message to the Adjudicate team and ask them for assistance in getting the game resumed. To do this, go to Messages in the left column (under LINKS) and then click New (along the top). In the lower half of the screen now type Adjudicate in the recipient field and underneath there type your message, eg, 'Please help me get my games resumed against Canon. I have sent numerous resume requests and had no response.' You can also request the game be adjudicated as a win, draw, or an abort if you still have no joy.
Right click on a game and choose request-win, request-draw or request-abort
After issuing the request command, please be patient. There are hundreds of games sent to the adjudicate judge each week.
