JudgeBot is a computer program that monitors every game in which your opponent disconnects. If JudgeBot determines that you are clearly winning, it will award the win to you in about 30 or 40 seconds! You will receive an ICC message and the game will appear as a win in your history. More info in "help JudgeBot".
If you do not receive the win, it's because JudgeBot didn't think you were clearly winning.
If you still think you are winning, and your opponent won't resume the game with you, you can request an adjudication.
Under normal circumstances, you must allow your opponent seven days to resume the game.
Each time you logon, type 'resume' in the command console. This will challenge your opponent to resume the adjourned game.
If your opponent never logs in, or refuses to resume, then you can request the game be adjudicated as a win, draw, or an abort.
Shortcut in BlitzIn interface:
Menu above: Click the Actions tab, then select Show my adjourned games from that menu.
Right-click the game in question, choose Adjudication from the right click menu, then complete the request form.
Command Line Method
In general, you type the command, the opponent's handle, and the reason:
* request-win Howie I am up a rook and he hasn't logged in for a week.
* request-draw Phil The game is a drawn ending and Joe won't resume.
* request-abort Cindy The game is still in a book opening.
After issuing the request command, please be patient. There are hundreds of games sent to the adjudicate judge each week.
