How do I add a Chat Room or a Channel? (ICCforMac/Windows)

On the left you find under 'Chat Rooms' a list of ChatRooms/Channels you are currently in. Click on one of them and it opens in the middle of your interface. 
    The number on the right of a Chat Room explains how many tells you have not seen yet.

You can add chatrooms/channels with 2 methods:
1. In the top right corner there is the Room list icon. (Not there?  List on the left.  LINKS: Click on Lobby) You can click on one of the channels to add it to your Chat Rooms list.    (The Room list is only showing a selection of channels.)
    
2. Menu above: View > Console   You now need to know the channel number you wish to add.  "help Channels" for a list of ICC channels.   To add the Experienced Help channel you would type '+channel 2' in your console area. The channel will then appear under ‘Chat Rooms’  

You can remove chatrooms/channels with 2 methods:
1. Open the Chat Room with clicking on it in the list on the left under 'Chat Rooms'. It now opens in the middle of your interface. In the top right corner of the Chat Room you will find a 'Clear' button and a 'Close' button.  Click on 'Close' to remove the Chat Room from your Chat Rooms list. 
  
2. Menu above: View > Console   You now need to know the channel number you wish to add.  "help Channels" for a list of ICC channels.   To remove the Experienced Help channel you would type '-channel 2' in your console area.
