We have pools with different time controls. You can press the 1, 3, 5, 15, 25 and chess 960 which are along the top. These are shortcuts to the pools.
1 - will place you in the 1-minute pool waiting for a 1 0 game. "help 1-minute"
3 - will place you in the 3-minute pool waiting for a 3 0 game. "help 3-minute"
5 - will place you in the 5-minute pool waiting for a 5 0 game. "help 5-minute"

(With no button yet for Chess960, you will have to your console (Menu above: View > Console) and type there: 960)
The server will match you to an opponent. Once your game starts you should finish it. Disconnections in the pools are treated as losses (unless both players are severely lagging). You can leave the pools (prior to your game starting) by typing 'match' or 'unseek' in your console area.
Noplay, censor lists and formula are ignored by the pools pairing system.
You can also enter simple commands to enter the pools. For the 1-minute pool type: 1, for the 45-minute pool type: 45, etc etc.
2. Seek a game system:
You can also issue a seek which other people can accept. Click on the Play Icon in the toolbar.
Enter the time controls in the window that appears and complete the other fields, then press Send Challenge. Your seek will go out to other players who can choose to accept the seek or not. The seek is placed on the Challenges Graph where other players can find it.
You can also issue a seek by a command. To do this, you would type on your console (view > console) seek 2 12 r which would be asking for a 2 minute rated game with each player receiving 12 seconds increment per move. For more information read "help seek"
You can accept a 'seek' from someone else. For this click on the Challenges Icon in the toolbar (above in your interface)
Or Menu above: Game > Challenges You can view the challenges as a list or as dots in a graph. There are 2 tabs above the challenges for this.
Here you can also find (C)omputer accounts offering a game, endgames, problems, etc. "help bots"
3. Match an individual player:
Toolbar above: Play Icon > 'Create Challenge' window opens > Fill in the different fields for time control, type of game, etc. Choose the tab 'Challenge Friend' and fill in his username > Press 'Send Challenge'. A match request will be issued to that person.
To clear your match offer go to the menu above: View > Console or click the Console icon in the Status area at the bottom left. Type on the command bar under your console: match
For more information, including the command line method read "help match"
